A Property is the core entity in Ananas GDS. Everything — facts, photos, availability, contracts — is tied to a property. Accommodation accounts create and manage properties; tour operators access properties through active partner contracts.
Adding a New Property
- Navigate to Manage Properties
In the left sidebar, click Manage Properties. - Click “Add New Property”
A form opens. Enter the property name — this is the official name that will appear on all fact sheets and partner-facing outputs. - Select the property type
Choose from: Hotel, Resort, Motel, Apartment, Camp, Hostel, Guest House, Villa, or Other. - Enter the country and city
Used for Marketplace discoverability and display on fact sheets. - Save the property
The property is created and assigned a unique Property ID. It now appears in Manage Facts, Manage Photos, and the Availability Calendar.
Property ID
Each property receives a unique Property ID automatically upon creation. This ID is used in API endpoints and in generating export URLs. You can find the Property ID in the property’s detail view within Manage Properties.
Managing Multiple Properties
There is no hard limit on the number of properties per account (limits may apply based on plan). Each property has independent fact sheets, availability calendars, photo sets, and can hold separate partner contracts. Authorized sub-users can be restricted to specific properties — see Authorization & Users.
Warning: Deleting a property removes all associated fact sheet data, photos, stop sale calendar entries, and will break any active API integrations and partner contracts tied to that property. This action cannot be undone. Contact support if you need to transfer property ownership.
Next Steps
Once your property is created, the recommended order is:
- Fill in the Facts Sheet for the property across all 12 sections.
- Upload photos via Manage Photos.
- Publish the fact sheet.
- Set up the Availability Calendar.
- Connect with partners via the Marketplace.
- Integrate via API if needed.
