Creating an Account

Everything you need to go from zero to a live, distributing account — account registration, platform overview, and adding your first property.

1. Creating an Account

Account Types

Currently Ananas GDS supports two primary account types. You select your type during registration and it governs what you can do on the platform:

Note: Partnership contracts can only be formed between an Accommodation and a Tour Operator. Two accommodations or two operators cannot form a data-sharing contract with each other at this stage.

Registration Steps

  1. Go to app.ananas-gds.com and click Create an account
    Fill in your email address and choose a secure password (minimum 8 characters, at least one number and one special character).
  2. Select your account type
    Choose Accommodation or Tour Operator. This cannot be changed after registration.
  3. Enter your company details
    Company name, country of operation, primary contact number, and website (optional). These appear in the Marketplace to other users.
  4. Confirm your email address
    A confirmation link is sent to your registered email. You must click it before your account is activated.
    Please use an official business email address associated with your organization. All accounts are subject to manual verification to confirm that they belong to a legitimate registered entity. Accounts that cannot be verified will be deactivated, and the affected organization will be notified of any fraudulent registration attempt.
  5. Wait for account approval
    New accounts are reviewed by the Ananas GDS team to verify genuine business identity. Approval typically happens within 1 business day. You will receive an email confirmation.

 

Fill in your company profile fully before reaching out to partners. A complete profile — logo, description, website, address — significantly increases the chance of other companies accepting your partnership request.
If you already have an account and you want to change your organization type using your same registered username and email, you can do that by writing to us by using the Contact form.

Free vs. Premium Plans

All accounts start on the Free plan. The Free plan includes all of the functional features for one Accommodation. Upgrade to a Premium plan to unlock the full platform potential. See Pricing for details.

Accommodation Account

An Accommodation account allows your organization to create and publish official property listings on the platform. Supported property types include hotels, resorts, motels, bed & breakfasts, holiday homes, campsites, rental villas, and other tourism and hospitality properties.

By creating a property listing, you confirm that the property is legally owned by or operated under your organization, and that you are authorized to publish information on its behalf. All documents generated through the platform carry a verification mark issued by Ananas GDS, ensuring the quality and authenticity of data delivered to our business clients.

Tour Operator Account

A Tour Operator account enables your organization to establish partnerships with accommodation providers and connect to their data via API. This includes access to fact sheet data, occupancy data, and stop sale information, which can be integrated into your internal tour compilation systems and distributed through your own channels, distribution managers, or websites.

Tour Operators may apply limited overrides to certain data fields to match their display requirements or brand style. Each operator connected to the same property can maintain independent overrides, allowing for differentiated presentation across channels. However, the scope of permitted overrides is defined by the property itself, and a valid partnership connection on the platform is required before any data modifications can be made.

2. Company Details

Navigate to Settings → Company Details. This is the public-facing identity of your company on the Ananas GDS platform. The information here appears in the Marketplace and in partnership profile views.

Company Name Your official registered company name. For hotel chains and franchise groups, register only properties under your direct management. To transfer ownership of a property to a different account, contact us.
Website Your company or property website URL. Improves discoverability and provides backlinks. Does not affect domain whitelisting for developer tools — that is managed separately.
Address Company address as per legal registration and tax documentation.
Contact Number Company contact number or direct number for the responsible person. Displayed in your Marketplace profile.
Company Logo Upload your company logo (PNG or SVG recommended, min 200×200px). The logo is printed on the header of all generated, exported, and emailed documents when the corresponding preference is enabled.
Company ID Your unique platform-assigned identifier. Auto-generated on registration. Read-only. Used internally in API URLs and integrations.
Account Status Shows whether your account is Free or Premium. See Pricing for plan details. Verification status is also shown here — the Ananas GDS team manually verifies submitted company data for authenticity.
