Frequently Asked Questions

Can I change my account type from Accommodation to Tour Operator after registration?

No. Account type is set at registration and cannot be changed. If you registered with the wrong type, contact support@ananas-gds.com to discuss options. In most cases a new account will need to be created.

I published my fact sheet but my partner’s API isn’t returning data. What’s wrong?

Check the following in order: (1) Confirm the fact sheet is published — saved but not published data will not appear in the API. (2) Confirm there is an active, accepted partnership contract between your account and the partner’s account. (3) Confirm the contract includes Facts Sheet Access permission. (4) Verify the partner is using the correct API token for this contract, not a token from a different contract.

My rooms don’t appear in the availability calendar. What should I do?

Rooms in the calendar are pulled from the Rooms tab in the published fact sheet. If rooms are missing: (1) Go to Manage Facts and confirm rooms exist in the Rooms tab. (2) Make sure you clicked “Save & Publish” after adding rooms — saved-but-not-published data does not populate the calendar. (3) If rooms were added recently, try refreshing the calendar page.

Can a tour operator modify my fact sheet data?

No. Your source data is always read-only for partners. If you have enabled “Partners overriding fact documents” in Preferences, operators can override certain display fields (such as currency or a beach name label) in their own output — but this only affects how they present the data in their own systems. Your stored data in Ananas GDS is never changed.

What happens to my data if I cancel a contract?

When you cancel a contract, data-sharing access does not stop immediately. The contract remains active until its end date (as set in the contract terms), after which API access for that partner is fully revoked. Your stored data is unaffected — you retain full ownership and control of all your fact sheet, photo, and availability data.

Is it possible to have multiple API tokens for the same partner?

Each accepted contract generates exactly one API token. If you need separate tokens for different property sets, you will need separate contracts for each group of properties. Contact support for guidance on multi-contract setups.

Can I send the fact sheet to a partner who isn’t registered on Ananas GDS?

Yes. For partners not on the platform, use the Export Center to generate a PDF and email it manually, or add them to a Mailing Group to send directly from the app. API access requires registration and an active contract.

How many properties can I add to my account?

There is no hard property limit. Practical limits may apply based on your subscription plan. Contact support if you are managing a large portfolio and need a tailored setup.

I accidentally deleted a room. Can I recover it?

Room deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. You will need to re-create the room in the Rooms tab. Note that the stop sale calendar history for that room will be lost. This is why we strongly recommend editing rooms rather than deleting and re-creating them.

Do you support multiple languages for fact sheets?

The platform interface is currently in English. Multi-language fact sheet output is on the roadmap. For now, you can add translated content in the free-text and additional notes fields of each section. The website widget supports a language parameter that affects UI labels — English, German, and Turkish are currently available.

How do I find my Property ID?

Go to Manage Properties and click on the property in question. The Property ID is displayed in the property detail view. It is also present in all API responses as the property_id field.

Who do I contact for billing or subscription changes?

Contact support@ananas-gds.com or use the Contact form on the website. Include your Company ID (found in Settings → Company Details) in your message.
